He has his ups and downs.
But did his best to smile threw it all.

He loves being outside
and playing with the horses.

As skinny as ever.
His nickname is peanut. He
is about the size of one. My little man.

Happy birthday Mr Matthew.
Mom and dad love you so much.

snow day

Had our friends over and it snowed. The kids had so much fun
playing in the snow. we attempted a snow man but blakelynn got
really bored with it. fun day.

On the way home Brett and Matt cuddled up.
Missing nap time is hard.

Mr Matthew can't help it. Even at Temple Square his
pants wouldn't stay up. Poor tourists ha ha

On the way home

Brett had a day off so we took a trip to temple square.
Kids have never been and we decided it would be lots of fun to
spend the day together as a family.
He works hard and sometimes it feels like forever that we see
him. but i love him for how hard he works for us.

Matthew on the other hand decided
to eat the vegetable. Yes eat it.
He went around to everyone's pumpkin picked up pieces
and would try to go hide in a corner to eat it.

Blakelynn loved trying to dig out her seeds,
but soon gave up and my dad clean it out for her.

Dakota's Mask

My brother needed a masquerade mask and i had two
but not ones that would work so i made him a new one.
this is how it turned out and unfortunately i couldn't get it to show in
order. it was tons of fun making. i loved how it turned out
and the spider web stuff i think is the best part.

Yesterday while i was doing some scrap booking blakelynn saw a picture of the funeral
for Grandma Nelson. She said she wanted to go see her. So i told her we would
take her to the graveyard.

Brett did not work till night so we decided to go in the morning to visit the graveyard.
When we got there blake was a little hesitant about going out there, she said "i
don't want to go there to die mom"

I explained to her that this is just were we put our bodies when we go to live
with heavenly father. That heavenly father wanted them to come back and live
with him. She was very upset that Darci was gone. And i think that she thought
more of Darci Armstrong then Darci Pingel. But i explained that this was daddies
sister and that Heavenly Father missed her to much to let her stay on earth.

So my little sweet Blakelynn says "when she gets up i will see her over
there" and she pointed to the rock wall. I said "yes we will all get to see
her again because thats what Heavenly Father promised." And then she
says "i want to die right here mom" I said "when its your time to go Heavenly
Father will let you know and we can put you by Darci, Do you want to
be by Darci?" and she said "yes when i die i want to be by Darci"

Little minds are hard to explain such big things to. But in a way i think
she really does get it more then we do. She will as she gets older
forget as Heavenly Father planned, but as of now she knows her family and
she misses them so. But she loves life and loves her family that is here.
Heavenly Father knows what he is doing for each of us and where
all of us are at in our lives. And what a special gift that is for us to know and
to watch little children know. It was a good trip

Matthew is a silly little man.
He loves to give hugs and kisses and was sharing
some of that in blakelynns scrapbook to "mama"

Matthew loves to be out side and
play with his aunts and uncles.

We go walk every morning and blakelynn LOVES this
bench. She asks to sit here every time.
She hat turned out to be quiet the poser, and
has many many funny things to say. (see facebook)
